Salvation Army Citadel, Clarence Street Southend, with red and superior Malm brick gauged window arch within London ashes brickwork; with Clarence Road on left showing St. Martin’s Christian Spiritualist Church (1889 built as Liberal Party hall) in red brick and white painted ashlar and behind it in paler 1961 red bricks the rebuilt Central Baptist Church of 1883.
